Surprisingly, I found myself really getting into this song. The harmonica playing and piano were all so mediocre (no offence) but you played it with emotions that just made me feal happy if you know what I mean. Also had a nice message to go along with it. To bad your a little late for mothers day or it would be perfect.

The singers and lyrics were definantly the backbone of the song though. The lyrics were funny, creative, and happy. They sounded even better when sung by these two guys. Unlike pretty much every other person who tries on this site, you actually sounded good and sung with emotions. The way you sung at the same time or over eachother as one person hummed or something like that was well thought out and worked perfectly.

As you could probably tell, I really liked this song and I really liked the way you guys sounded together. I really hope you make more stuff like this soon because in my oppinion, this was no questions asked the best song I have heard in the audio portal in a month, maybe more.

I really liked where you were going with this song, the guitar was played very smooth and melodically. It all had this nice relaxing feal to it that I enjoyed very much. It's just the song was way to short. There is no getting around that. You got to at least try to tack on another minute or so onto the song because this definantly had a lot of potential to be a great song, definantly usable in a flash if it gets noticed.

You may want to add drums as well but I could see reasons you wouldn't want to because it might ruin that lonely type of time I thought it had to it so that choice would be up to you. Anyways it was still a very well made songi n my oppinion, it just wasn't living up to its full potential.

Teimlia responds:

Thank you for your review. I plan on lengthening this song with time and working on something to live up to its potential. So I hope you check in more often! Once more, thanks again!

This was a very interesting heavy metal song, not like many others I have heard before. It didn't really have a set riff or anything. It all just constantly changed throughout the song. I really liked that because it kept things interesting how very few riffs were repeated.

Some of the riffs were hit or miss if you ask me but for the most part they were all pure gold. I would definalty suggest doing a full song with some of these. You definantly got a lot of potential with metal music, don't let that go to waste. Anyways great song. Good job.

shadow617 responds:

y thank ya so much. I love heavy metal. and playing stuff like this on the guitar is what I live for. thanks for the great review!

It seams like you didn't even try with this. It was repetitive and the volume was all messed up. The drums seamed really quet compared to the synth, and the synth definantly wasn't good enough to not be backed up by some good drums. Also, those random pauses in the synths playing were just weird and unnecesary if you ask me since they didn't really add anything to thing song, only took away from.

Maybe instead of thinking that quantity is better then quality and just try to make as many songs as you can whether they are good or bad, you could actually try taking your time and commiting to a single track for a while and perfect it. I think you'll find yourself very satisfied with the outcome.

Clownshoes21 responds:

Ya, your right, thanks for the reveiw/response.

This wasn't really that bad, it had some interesting sounds and in that aspect was fun to listen to. It's just nothing really seamed to flow very well. The drums for the most part, they just did not sound good with everything else. Try making the drums were of a simple steady beat.

There were also a few other problems, most of them toward the end. One being that the song started losing it's real pacman feal to it the further you went into the song and the more sounds that were added. I also found a problem with the overall clutteredness later in the song. It never really flowed very good at any part of the song but the end was the worst. So many things were being played on top of eachother it was just hard to really enjoy with so many things going on.

You should just try and keep things more simple. A more simple drum beat. More simple sounds, don't try to hard especially in a videogame remix because you're going to want to try and keep those true to the original track. But it still wasn't that bad of a song overall and was definantly worth giving a try. Just try and keep some of my suggestions in mind.

It was alright, I mean there wasn't really anything special. The guitar was well played, the riff was incredibly simple and generic though, judging by the solo the guitarist is really good so try actually playing a complicated fun to listen to riff. The drums flowed pretty well with the song regardless of whether they were real or not (I couldn't really tell)

The vocals, that's where there was some sort of problem. It's not even that the vocals were that bad. It's just that both the guys sounded like they wern't even trying. I mean it was monotoned and boring. Try and give it some enthusiasm ^_^ Also nerf that death metal growl thing, none of you have the voice for that.

Ragin-Asian responds:

the vocals were a joke
they were all first takes
im uploading the solo so you guys can all here the good part of the song

It was a pretty good song for the most parts. It had some very nice synth tracks and I could definantly see this in some sort of flash. The song itself just seamed all together cluttered and chaotic though. During parts of the song there were a lot of tracks being played at well that just plain didn't sound goo together.

Maybe you could try replacing some of the unnecesary synth tracks and replace them with something a bit more slow and melodic to be played in the background. Maybe some drums would work well too but I'm not really sure about that for a song like this but you can never go wrong with a simple beat to back a song up. Anyways it was still definantly a great song, good job.

Laikros responds:

Many thanks for the constructive criticism! I'll remember this in my next song! :D

This track just seamed to be all over the place. Despite it being very well made and original there were just so many things that seamed all wrong. The most noticable being the volume on the different sections of the song and different instruments. They just changed drastically so often I found myself turning up or down the volume on my computer quite a few times.

The way the song changed so much and so drastically wasn't that great of an idea either. The way it seamed to me was like an assortment of clips played next to eachother with some lose attachments connecting them. You need to do something to make the song flow better. Other then that is was definantly a very well made song that was definantly worth listening to. I just think a few minor adjustments should be made to make this song into its full potential.

Terror-Proof responds:

Il just put it this way mate.

Even tho i love3 dnb so much and how much id love to make good dnb tracks im really no good at them.

Cheers for the review tho its wasnt ignored.

This was a wonderful song. You don't usually see much good acustic songs on here. You were right about this being smooth and relaxing. I really think the piano in addition to the guitar is what made this song so relaxing and nice to listen to. It definantly wouldn't be the same song without that piano.

It's to bad you didn't actually play the guitar, that would have been cool if you did. So what parts did you do? Just everything that wasn't guitar or what?

Hank2006111 responds:

I didn't do anything. I just put it together. The person who did it was Michael Bacich. And I just found his music separate (like the guitar and everything) and I just put it together. Still, I might do something that I actually made soon. I might do something in Garage Band once I get a mac. Thanks for reviewing!

This was definantly one of the better ambient tracks that I have heard lately. It had everything you would want in an amboent song and more. The beat was great, nice, slow and relaxing. The piano and synth were great too. The synth was a small addition that really made a big difference. Hearing it in the background is probably what gave the song that peaceful vibe that this song has. The piano was great as well, nice and slow and had a well thought out melody without really overpowering everything else. There was really nothing not to like here and it was definantly something to be proud of, good job.
