The song really wasn't that bad. There was a lot of diversity throughout the song, it didn't transition very well between parts but it was nothing that really affected the song majorly. The problem was for some reason the song was incredibly low quality. I have no idea why though because the file size was pretty large. I don't know what program you are using but try to find some way to get that quality better.

It was definantly original I'll give you that. In my oppinion originality is the most important part to a song in the audio portal but this was almost to weird for me. It had this mix of industrial and hip hop which I have never really heard before. The beat was great and all these background effects that you put in there were almost hypnotic. Weird, but I liked it.

There's always room for improving but I don't even know what to suggest with a song like this because I barely even know what genre this really is. Just keep testing new things until you find exactly what you want. I don't really care how weird or different this song was, the thing is I enjoyed listening to it and that is the most important part. Good job.

This was great. I have never heard something that sounded like this before, it was really cool. The fast paced synth and the drums were great and flowed very smoothly but what made this song awsome was that bass in the background. It don't know why but that small addition just made this song rock so hard.

We really need more original sounding things like this in the audio portal nowadays because this was very interesting to listen to. Know way am I going to pass up giving a 5 to this. Good job.

This was a pretty epic song. There was so much depth and thought put into this song it's really incredible. The beat just sucked you in and I found to actually be quite catchy. You also did a great job of switching up the song throughout the course of the track so that it wouldn't get to repeitive which worked out really great.

I would not change a single thing in this song. This version is absolutely perfect. I definantly hope to see more from you because you definantly have a lot of potential.

JaredW responds:

Thanks man, appreciate you taking the time to write a review - and a decent one at that. So thanks a lot. I hate that people vote '0' without listening to it, but it sounds like you did your homework.

Cheers!

Ambient isn't exactly the hardest type of music to make but still I though this was pretty good. The piano track mixed with the echoing synth in the background gave this kind of lost in space feal to the song which I'm guessing is what you were aiming for. I couldn't exactly see this being in a flash like most other ambient songs but it was still a pretty cool thing to listen to, good job.

You came on a little slow with the weird ambient beggining but the song got so much better as it went on. The synth was cool and had some distorsion that kind of gave it that signiture "goth" feal. The drum beat was good but I personally found the claps to be a little loud compared to the synth, since the synth should be the most focus you probably don't want that.

This was very good so I don't recomend changing to much, just work on everythings volume until you find what really hits the spot. You may want to shorten the ambient begginning to because 0 bombers might vote from the first 10 seconds because it's not goth music, that's just a minor suggestion though. Anyways it was a really great song that you should be proud of, good job.

You know the guitar wasn't really that bad and was actually kind of interesting to listen to. The problem is it only lasted for 13 seconds. You should really try actually forming this into a song because like I said, it sounded pretty cool.

Use the talent you have to make a riff out of that part, tack on a downloaded drum beat and that's pretty much all you have to do to make an alright guitar song. I would really suggest that because I think you have potential.

Great stuff man. The fusion of the trance and classical genres was very cool and worked absolutely perfectly. The tracks flowed very smoothly and the drums were able to keep a good beat without really taking away anything from the song. Pretty much everything is perfect.

The only thing I find bad was some slight distortion here and there and a pretty mediocre ending. But those are both things you already know so it's nothing knew to you. Just keep trying at these songs and maybe you might even get one better then this :o

Geoplex responds:

Awesome :D
Yea, i only realised the end was bad after id already uploaded it, and i thought, whatever.
But, thanx for the reveiw1 :D

If you ask me the song had a lot of trouble just sounding like it was a single song. There were no real constant tracks. No simple synth tracks or drum beats played in the background for at least most of the song. This caused it to seam broken up and just a bunch of seperate tracks.

It all just seamed way to experimental. Instead of just putting up a bunch of tracks you did to test out the program maybe you should find one and work on that alone. That's what it seamed like you started to do at 0:45, but that still leaves an entire half of a song wasted.

So like I said, try and make the song more connected because right now there is a real problem with that. If you have a problem doing that with the song then maybe you should just use 0:45 and up because only at that point did it start sounding like a real song.

Maxim456 responds:

Thanks ill work on this piece i agree the ending was short i was aiming for something a little different in this song. Hopefully i can make up and better start for it! Thanks you again Keep listining

I know the entire song revolved around the distortion in the guitar, but it sounded incredibly anoying. It was to loud compared to the piano and percussions and just the overall scratchiness of it made it sort of hurt your ears. Maybe you should try remaking this but have the guitar set to a normal sound because the whole distortion deal just isn't working.
