Bourne, eh? Well, welcome back to Tejas then, man.
All the big cities of Texas took a lot of evacuees from the storm, but here in Houston we got the most. Things are settling down, though. The people who want to stay are integrating into the community, the ones who wanted to go back to Louisiana have gone back. It's all good now... It was kinda rough in the year after the storm, though. A lot of criminals came in with the good people.

i live in Texas as well :D It was a good place until Katrina blew over and we got invaded by New Orleans ;P
